I know God has big things in store for our little family.
I know that He is shaping us and sanctifying us during this time of waiting. I have had a front-row seat to His abundant blessings and I firmly believe and trust that He has really, really good things in store for us. Things that I could never imagine or dream up in my own limited perspective.
I am trusting that He is working during this time for the good of our sweet girl on the other side of the globe.
I trust that He is perfectly forming and creating our sweet Charlotte and preparing her for her entrance into this world.
I trust that He holds Ben and Nathan in the palm of His Hands and will use their lives to do mighty works for the Kingdom of Heaven.
I trust that all of the prayers on behalf of our S are heard and that each tear shed has been caught in His hand as we wait for her homecoming.
“To limit His work to the range of our mind’s capacity to plan and comprehend is to limit our own experience of the extravagant capacity of God’s miracle-working potential, which spans all the way to eternity and back.
If we knew everything He was up to, we couldn’t bear the weight of it.
Did you hear that? The vast extent to which your mind could draw together what, in your estimation, would be the most exquisite plan for the solution you need doesn’t even begin to touch the hem of His ability. He does beyond it.”
– Priscilla Shirer, God is Able
Ephesians 3:20-21 has become a lifeline for our family during this adoption journey. It has also become an anchor for our Hope. A reminder that God is not limited to our human capabilities. He has great things in store and we are continuing to trust in His goodness.
