We added the finishing touch to our Lent tree on Sunday and I LOVE how these three ornaments ended up right next to one another. Incredibly symbolic, don’t you agree?
Our little family had a wonderful day celebrating our Risen Savior on Sunday! I LOVED this Easter with our boys. It was refreshing to celebrate this season through two-year old eyes full of purity and innocence.
I have been a little behind on recapping our celebration but I wanted to share some photos from our day in order to remember these precious moments…
We started our morning with sunrise service outside at Orchard’s Park. It was a beautiful way to remember Christ’s sacrifice. We were in the darkness and then the rays of sunlight broke free and brought us into light.
I tried to get a photo of the boys together on Easter morning. Not happening. They were looking for ducks after the service. They wouldn’t turn around to look at me!
After service, we headed home for a quiet breakfast and to check out the boy’s Easter baskets…
They loved their new books and trains from Nana & Papa!
We headed outside to play with bubbles and write with sidewalk chalk…
They wanted to blow bubbles on their own. Nathan ended up with a mouthful of bubbles.
After naps, we had one more Easter surprise in store…and it was a HIT.
Playing at their new water table…Ben was so careful and Nathan was soaking wet.
Since everyone was already wet, we decided to give the pups baths. The boys LOVED helping!
Ben pouring a measuring cup full of water on Max to help. I love it!!!
Sunday evening was spent with Dave’s family. The kids played, hunted eggs and then we all ate a delicious Easter dinner together. It was a perfect, perfect day. I am SO incredibly blessed and SO incredibly grateful for these moments with loved ones.
I love this picture!
Check out those cool glasses!
Just taking a break…
Grandma Marrs is 93 and she is right out there with the kids!!!!!
New water guns!
This is a POUND CAKE!
Nathan is worn out!
All in all, this was a perfect Easter weekend.
